Job Description:

Massachusetts General Hospital, a world-renowned academic medical center, and a leader in oncology care, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mastectomy Fitter & Product Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized mastectomy fitting and product consultation services to clients while also overseeing the daily operational activities of our boutique. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing personalized product consulting and exceptional customer service.



Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct consultations with patients to assess needs and provide expert fitting services for post-mastectomy products.


• Offer guidance on product selection, ensuring comfort, functionality, and aesthetic considerations.


• Collaborate closely with oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.


• Educate patients on the proper use, care, and maintenance of mastectomy products.


• Maintain detailed records of fittings and patient interactions in compliance with hospital protocols.


• Uphold Mass General's commitment to excellence in customer service and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• ABC or BOC Mastectomy Certification required.


• Cosmetology License preferred.


• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds of product.


• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or retail setting.


• Exceptional communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.


• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.


• Ability to assist patients and customers in positioning for fittings.

Shift: Part time, 20 hours per week; Mon-Wed and Friday 8-4:30 for now, or Mon-Fri 10-2
