This position is part of a small team of dedicated professionals responsible for the shipping/receiving, delivery and storage of items in spaces overseen by OU Housing and Food Services, to include residence halls, offices, restaurants, and apartments. Position will also serve as part of a team of haulers responsible for moving and adjusting furniture within designated spaces and/or moving furniture to and from the designated spaces and to/from/around the centralized warehouses. Drives assigned vehicle for the purpose of transporting furniture, equipment, and/or supplies to various buildings throughout campus and will complete necessary paperwork and reports. May perform errands. Will use and abide by established safety practices. Performs various duties as needed to successfully the function of the position.
Required Education: High School diploma or GED, AND:
12 months driving experience
Skills:
Uses tools or equipment in a manner requiring some training or instruction
Reads and interprets basic written materials
Uses addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to exchange information
Certifications:
Valid driver's license to drive OU vehicles
