Job Description:

This role is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a program setting and in the community. The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist will assist with developing/facilitating groups/skill-building modules to support individual's recovery. Will work in a group setting coaching and teaching strategies to individuals with mental illness. Will assist with recreational outings to integrate individuals in their community.
In addition, the Psych Rehab Specialist will work in the community and in individual's homes, one-on-one. Will provide individualized teaching, training and support needed to individuals served. This distinctive position can offer flexibility and opportunities for cross-training, development, and clinical supervision. Qualified candidates should have foundational beliefs of person-centered practices, inclusion, and equity. Have passion and knowledge for working with individuals with mental illness. Exhibit highly developed verbal and written communication skills; possess interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
