We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Summer Intern to join our Design Technology team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the intersection of architecture and technology, with a particular interest in generative design for creating efficient and innovative building layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the development and refinement of generative design algorithms for architectural planning.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate generative design practices into real-world projects.
Assist in managing and processing data for AI research and generative design exercises.
Engage in AI-driven research to explore new methods for plan layout optimization.
Produce and maintain documentation and case studies on generative design processes and outcomes.
Present findings and progress in team meetings and, potentially, at external events.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on computational design.
Familiarity with design software (e.g., Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper) and AI tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, TensorFlow).
A strong interest in AI research, particularly in the context of generative design in architecture.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently on assigned tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
