What You Will Do:

We have a great opportunity to join our marketing team as a Communications Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning content strategy with business priorities through collaboration with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders. This role will also be responsible for maintaining brand consistency to promote brand awareness and customer trust.

The Corporate Communications Specialist will be an independent and proactive professional responsible for operational corporate communications, extensive cross-functional, global project management, and data analysis and visualization. They will play a pivotal role in triaging, prioritizing, and building end-to-end project plans independently. Their ability to manage and contextualize data will support the communications team in making better-informed decisions. Additionally, they will serve as the partner for external vendors, professional associations, speaking opportunities, and more. A deep understanding of the global business landscape is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Corporate Communications:

· Independently manage operational corporate communications, ensuring alignment with the brand's messaging and objectives.

· Oversee the development and distribution of corporate materials, including decks, presentations and written external communications.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for corporate communications projects.

Global Project Management:

· Take ownership of cross-functional, global project management efforts for corporate communications initiatives.

· Independently triage and prioritize incoming communications requests based on urgency and strategic importance.

· Build end-to-end project plans and establish timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

· Ensure compliance and accountability across stakeholders and other teams.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to execute projects efficiently and effectively.

Liaison Between Stakeholders:

· Serve as a proactive liaison between various stakeholders, including marketing, sales, customer success, product development, executive leadership, external vendors, and associations.

· Facilitate communication and alignment between teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.

Partnership with External Entities:

· Serve as a strategic partner for external vendors, professional associations and other relevant entities, fostering collaborative relationships and aligning communication efforts with organizational goals.

· Identify and pursue speaking opportunities, conferences, and industry events to amplify the brand's presence and thought leadership position.

· Actively engage with external stakeholders to gather insights, share best practices, and explore potential partnership opportunities.

· Represent the organization in external forums, conferences and industry associations, advocating for the brand and enhancing its reputation.

Content Creation and Copywriting:

· Write compelling content and copy for various communication channels, ensuring consistency with the brand's messaging and objectives.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

· Collect, analyze, and interpret data relevant to corporate communications initiatives.

· Independently conceptualize and visualize data to generate insights and inform decision-making within the communications team.

· Utilize data-driven approaches to optimize communication strategies and enhance overall effectiveness.

Experience/Knowledge/Competencies You Will Need:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required (6+ years).

· Masters degree a plus.

· Degree in communication, journalism, public health, health communication or a related field a plus.

· Proven ability to work independently and proactively, taking initiative to triage, prioritize, and build end-to-end project plans.

· Strong project management skills, with experience managing cross-functional projects in a global setting.

· Proficiency in Excel is mandatory.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders, external vendors, and associations.

· Expertise in building corporate decks and materials for an executive audience, with a keen eye for design and storytelling.

· Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools/software is a plus.
