The Department of Otolaryngology is currently seeking a full time Predoctoral Scholar to work in Miami, FL. The Predoctoral Scholar, SOM participates in the daily activities of the laboratory with the purpose of facilitating the development of a high-level research program.



CORE JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Prepares experiment proposals with detailed rationale, background data, and proposed methods and organization.


  • Conducts laboratory experiments and studies and records findings.


  • Maintains data files and conducts data analysis.


  • Drafts and publishes manuscripts and articles for peer-reviewed journals.


  • Prepares and submits grant applications.


  • Designs, executes, interprets, and integrates scientific data.


  • Maintains current knowledge of significant developments in the field.


  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Education:



Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
