Director of Product Marketing are responsible for optimizing a business's marketing strategies and increasing market share and competitiveness. They evaluate consumer trends, develop marketing strategies, and monitor customer satisfaction. They are also required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive product innovation. Coordinating activities to boost a products brand awareness and market positioning.

Position Summary:

As a Director of Product Marketing you will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, increasing market share, and ensuring competitiveness. This includes analyzing market trends and defining product fit and value. You will work across internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation, differentiation, and growth, including sales, product management, and engineering. You will be responsible for the portfolio strategy and development, based on our underlying tech stack comprised of machine and deep learning, generative AI, computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and computational knowledge graphs. You will be naturally curious, a critical thinker, an assertive problem solver, a self-starter, and a strong communicator. You will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical acumen, project management proficiency, and a passion to do whatever it takes to meet aggressive deadlines.

This role focuses on maximizing near-term opportunities, while also building strategic, long-term programs to increase demand for our products. Operating in a highly cross-functional and entrepreneurial environment, this role will make an immediate, significant impact on the business.

Key Capabilities:

  • Set marketing strategy, analyze market activity, and identify and launch new products
  • Integrate user feedback into product updates and positioning.
  • Investigate, quantify, and qualify emerging market trends and opportunities
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategy and activities for direct and indirect channels
  • Define product value and develop supporting tools to impart that understanding for customer
  • Perform competitive analysis toward increasing market share
  • Establish target customer, personas, product positioning, messaging, and proof points
  • Collect customer feedback to inform messaging, tactics, and product roadmap
  • Evangelize products to customer through demos and trade shows
  • Deliver product enablement materials and training programs
  • Collaborate on the identification and development of core content
  • Work with demand generation team on campaigns, tactics, and messages
  • Establishing relationships with industry analysts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or business. MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience for software products (Experience in the B2B tech space; SaaS is preferred), with at least 2+ years as senior product marketing manager.
  • A demonstrated understanding of data science, advanced analytics, and related fields
  • Demonstrated track record gathering customer requirements (VOC), developing product strategy, roadmaps and marketing requirements
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis and building brand strategy
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, as a self-starter with demonstrated ability to build peer and executive cross functional relationships.
