Full Time: Yes

Shift:  Red Nights 7p-7a

** Offering $2/hr Night Shift Premium for any hours worked 7p-7a! **

Base Rate:  $21.93

Position Purpose: 

Primary duties will be performing separator/diluted functions in processing. Responsible for supplying packaging lines with cheese, operating equipment, processing of cream cheese, CIP and sanitation following plant safety and GMP policies. May help in other areas as needed. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Essential Functions:    

• Operating Separators




• Shipping cheese to packaging




• Perform necessary analytical testing on finished cheese.




• Perform Clean-in-Place (CIP) sanitation of all tanks, lines and equipment in the separator area.




• Perform required record keeping and documentation.




• Equipment set-up and operation




• Perform general sanitation of the overall processing area and plant.




• Operate diluted ratio.




• Complete clean-up procedures




• Handle alternative ingredients and incorporate into finished product.




• Operate Man-Machine Interface (MMI) Controls and Radio Frequency (RF) equipment to ensure proper flow and tracking product.

SKILLS: 

• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English, effectively.




• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.




• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.




• Requires repetitive hand and wrist motion.




• Requires repetitive bending and lifting.




• Must be able to stand for 8- 12 hours each day.




• Must be willing to work other shifts, days, hours as needed. Scheduled days may vary depending on production needs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• High noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.




• During sanitation activities, potential exposure to chemicals and wet conditions is likely.




• Chemicals may require the use of PPE.
