Description:

Jazz Solutions is seeking a Quality Management Specialist to maintain the established quality management practices across the organization. Jazz Solutions maintains compliance with CMMI and ISO standards. The ideal candidate will evaluate the compliance of various projects against the standard processes and procedures, overseen
by the Senior Director – Quality. Please note, this is not a Tester/Test Engineer role.

This position can be 100% remote within the United States.

Specific Duties to Perform:

• This is not a tester position. The resource will not be involved in any testing tasks. He/she will act as thequality management specialist for the company to evaluate and institutionalize compliance of projects with CMMI for Development Maturity Level 3, CMMI for Services Maturity Level 3 and ISO standards.

• Understand day-to-day tasks of the project teams to drive process improvement.

• Conduct process and product audits.

• Participate in peer reviews.

• Collect artifacts/objective evidences from the projects for ISO audits and CMMI appraisals.

• Define, update and maintain processes, procedures, checklists, templates, guidelines etc., in other words Organizational Process Asset Library.

• Collect metrics and measurement data from projects and various departments of the organization as needed.

• For quality compliance and performance improvement, suggest corrective and preventive actions for the project teams, follow up and coordinate/support implementation as needed.

• Guide the organization to achieve CMMI for Services Maturity Level 5, if needed.

• Work with the CMMI appraisers and ISO auditors during appraisals/audits.

• Train project team members on established quality practices.

Position Qualifications/Experience/Education:

Bachelor degree in Information Technology related field (e.g., computer science, information systems, management information systems etc.) with 3-6 years of experience in the quality management area implementing CMMI and/or ISO practices.

Must have experience in auditing IT projects against processes and procedures.

Must have experience in defining, rolling out and improving processes and procedures across the organization.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

Good to have:

Experience in Software Development Lifecycle Management tools such as Jira, Team Foundation Server, Rational Suites etc.

Experience as a CMMI appraisal team member.

Quality certifications such as ASQ, CSQA.

Clearance Required: Public Trust Must be a US Citizen.
