Assist Recruiting Director in achievement of recruiting experienced advisors into all distribution channels of the organization for an assigned region. Work under the direction and leadership of the senior territory Recruiting Director. Engage advisors virtually and in person for purpose of recruiting advisors that are considering a change in affiliation and will be responsible for daily activities to drive recruiting results within the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and influence qualified Experienced Advisor Recruit (EAR) candidates through the Ameriprise recruiting process to deliver comprehensive value proposition. Evaluate advisor practices to ensure portability of assets and compliance with company hiring standards. Support and assist the territory Recruiting Director on effective execution of Due Diligence, Cost Benefit Analysis construction, preparation for governance, and construction and deliver of final candidate offers.
Management of existing territory recruiting pipeline by leveraging team resources and implement best practices and activity. Maintain accurate and timely candidate records in recruiting contact management system and report accurately on results. Communicate advisor recruiting status and results effectively to internal and external partners. Prioritization and execution of focus territory recruiting initiatives.
Drive diversified sourcing within the territory by consistently developing and deepening sourcing partner relationships to drive lead generation, Ameriprise Independent Advisor (AIA) "ready now" recruiting engagement, and partnership with existing field leaders on self-sourcing. Build centers of influence to promote advisor referral opportunities with existing Ameriprise Advisor Group (AAG), Ameriprise Financial Institutions Group (AFIG), and AIA advisors and other field staff to develop local recruiting sources.
Build and maintain strong partnerships between corporate partners, field leaders and advisors to achieve recruiting goals aligned with business strategies. Set expectations with advisors and field leaders around recruiting process. Maintain a strong knowledge of current industry competitive intelligence.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and minimum 5-7 years relevant experience.
Experience with recruiting and financial sales industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including networking, conflict resolution, negotiating, and influencing.
Proven ability to execute, lead, build, influence and maintain strong relationships with key business partners to drive results.
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge.
Ability to work independently and comfortable working with a remote team.
Must be located in the territory and partner with local leaders and recruiters in the market.
Must be able to run solo and joint meetings with prospects.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with Salesforce systems.
Data analytics skills.
Ability to influence and lead across many levels of the organization.
Ability to thrive in a complex matrix organization.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $80,000/ year. Base salaries are determined in part based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
