Job Description:

The Times Media Company, a division of Lee Enterprises, needs excellent customer service/sales representatives. Our Classified Department is growing, and we have full-time positions available.

The classified department is responsible for producing a wide variety of classified advertising from obituaries, service directories, garage sale ads, and legal notice ads.

The successful candidate should be able to develop strong business relationships, enjoy working with a variety of people and be comfortable in a deadline-drive work environment. Join our fast-paced, team-oriented environment-and help provide your clients with solutions you can believe in!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with clients delivering accurate and timely solutions.
• Demonstrate an ability to think creatively and communicate effectively internally and externally.
• Grow advertising customer base and assist our team in achieving revenue goals.
• Regularly manage client relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

• Advertising or equivalent combination of work-related experience preferred.
• Minimum one-year experience in sales or customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Well organized, detail oriented and excellent follow-through.
• Have a dedicated and driven work ethic.
• Knowledge of basic computer programs - Outlook, Excel, Word.
