Ashford (NYSE MKT: AINC) is a leading provider of asset management and other services to companies within the hospitality industry. Ashford's principals have a long track record of success and many years of experience investing and operating in the hospitality industry. Currently, Ashford serves as the advisor to two NYSE listed real estate investment trusts, namely Ashford Hospitality Trust (NYSE MKT: AHT) and Braemar Hotels and Resorts (NYSE MKT: BHR). It also services as the external advisor to Texas Strategic Growth Fund and Sitrling Hotels & Resorts.
Position will report directly to our EVP & Head of Asset Management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs complex administrative duties, with exposure to highly confidential matters and information
Heavy executive calendar management, coordination of business meetings, reporting, scheduling and daily timekeeping
Plan and coordinate various off-site meetings and events
Makes travel arrangements including booking flights, hotels and car reservations
Creates and modifies Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports
Drafting and editing outgoing emails and memos
Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing records
Other administrative duties and projects as assigned
Tracks expenses and prepares expense reports
May be required to assist with personal tasks as well
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years of administrative experience, to include experience supporting C-Suite Executives.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task and ask for clarification when needed
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to organize a daily workload based on priorities
Strong work ethic
Must possess an extremely positive attitude

Professional oral and written communication skills
Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
