Job Description:

  • Pay rate: $22/hr

  • Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm PT M-F

Day-to-day

An employer in the electric vehicle industry is looking for a Workplace Operations Associate to join their team in San Diego, CA. This position will be fully onsite 5 days per week (see schedule below). This position will inherit the reception responsibilities along with workplace related projects.

Some of the responsibilities of the Workplace Operations Associate will include but are not limited to:
  • This position will manage the front desk. They will be seated at the front desk but will assist with projects throughout the office as needed on a Monday-Friday schedule.
  • Check in/vet visitors and vendors on daily basis.
  • Issue temp badges to employees, visitors, and contractors based on the current security policies.
  • Ensure that safety protocols are being met and aligned with EHS.
  • Manage vehicle charging policy and calendar.
  • Check physical mail twice a week and proceed reflecting current logistics policies.
  • Ensure an outstanding & fun experience in the workplace by assisting in continuous monitoring of ALL space throughout the facility.
  • PO Creation literacy for office supplies and misc orders. Make sure that invoices are submitted correctly and paid. Make sure PR's are mapped in Minerva.
  • Have basic knowledge of Workplace budgets within Minerva to assist in staying within allocated quarterly budgets.
  • Event setup and breakdown when applicable
  • Temp signage placement
  • Manage the email alias. This email should be the source for all WP/Facility requests.
  • Completing assigned general ticket request/WATT requests. It is Workplace's role to confirm all requests and seen through completion. Some tasks may involve all coordination, scheduling, and purchase order oversight.
  • Maintain stock of office supplies, breakroom supplies, and culinary offerings. This will include weekly or biweekly ordering for three buildings/breakrooms.
  • In conjunction with other WP representatives, assist with WP process creation, implementation and maintenance. Always consider CIP-continuous improvement process!

SHIFT:

Monday - Friday

7:00am - 3:30pm PT (no flexibility on start time)

Must Have:
  • 1+ years' experience working in a professional setting in a receptionist, front desk, and/or administrative role
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills - must have experience writing emails with high visibility
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience multitasking by managing and prioritizing multiple responsibilities at once.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work Monday - Friday onsite starting at 7:00am PT
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
