Work Hours: 6:30am-3:30pm (1 hour lunch) - Required Schedule
Top Skills:
2-4+ years of Customer Service, Customer Support, Call Center, or Administrative/Coordination experience in a corporate environment
Strong customer service, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills
Ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to coordinate work
Strong attention to detail to quickly and accurately gather and document comprehensive information from customers
Problem-solving abilities to investigate information related to customer requests
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment with the ability to juggle multiple time-sensitive tasks concurrently
Proficient in using Outlook and Excel, with the capability to navigate internal systems proficiently for information retrieval
Team player with a positive attitude
Nice-To-Have Skills:
SAP experience
Experience working within regulated sectors: Utilities, Construction, The City, or Municipalities
Experience working with third-party contractors and crews (electricians, plumbers, service crews, trench inspectors, engineering, etc.)
Project Details: The district office is responsible for managing all coordination of construction service orders from inception to construction completion for new gas and electric service installations, remodels, upgrades, relocations, and removals of facilities. This role will provide customer service to support new service orders for customers.
Daily Responsibilities:
Responsible for all incoming customer requests via web base system (online and through email).
Receives customer requests through online portal and reviews the request to ensure all necessary information is included.
Conducts research to determine scope of work involved and gathers all information associated with the customer requests.
Follows up with customer (primarily via email) to gather missing information pertaining to the customer request as needed; May contact customers by phone as necessary.
Creates new projects in the system to generate a project number and assigns the project to the corresponding district office.
This position will be assigned to support one district office but may assist the team with processing work for other districts when work coverage is needed.
