Program Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Hybrid to Redmond, WA (mostly remote; requested to report on-site a few times / quarter)

Pay Range: $45-55/hour

Contract: W2, April - Jun 2024 with potential to extend up to 18 months

Schedule: 40-hours/week with flexibility to accommodate collaboration with global teams

Description:

In this role within the Cloud strategic sourcing team, the primary objective is to bolster the supply chain by efficiently managing suppliers engaged in cloud infrastructure. The typical day comprises a task breakdown: 70% collaborative efforts with stakeholders to troubleshoot late invoices, and 30% dedicated to coordinating and networking, including project managing monthly business reviews with network suppliers.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Requirements:
  • 4+ Years' experience with Supply chain, inventory management, supplier management, ideally with experience in retail
  • 4+ years' experience with MSFT suite and Excel
  • 4+ years' experience with communication
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
