Job description Mid-sized contractor looking to add a heavy highway/sitework estimating assistant to our team in Oswego, IL. This position will require a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with owners, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, trucking companies, engineering companies, GC's, etc. and be able to work flexible hours. Responsibilities include: Perform takeoffs, solicit subs, build estimates, assist handoff of award, etc. Review and complete understanding of contract specifications & drawings. Other responsibilities include conducting site visits, performing field measurement. HCSS, Agtek and Viewpoint knowledge a plus. EOE
