The ideal candidate would be an expert in the field of New York Workers' Compensation insurance. The candidate would have solid communication skills, believe in working as a team and collaborative environments. Job Description:
The Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst is responsible for providing superior customer service to policyholders, agents, insurance carrier representatives, and others encountered during general claims handling. Candidates must have a strong grasp of the workers' compensation insurance claim adjusting process and up-to-date knowledge of New York Workers Compensation Law.

The Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst is responsible for the handling of complex New York Compensation claims, including but not limited to: lost-time, medical-only, pension, death, disputed, and catastrophe. The Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst strives to identify risks, seek out claim incurred mitigation, subrogation, proper handling, and compliance for all claims.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a workers' compensation role (adjuster, examiner, analyst)
  • Strong technical skill level and understanding of applying workers' compensation insurance coverages.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying problems and developing recommended solutions
  • High degree of business acumen and ability to clearly communicate with all levels of management in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as directed.
  • Occasional travel
