Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant We are seeking a dedicated nurse to join our team within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Capital Regional Medical Center. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional care to patients during their clinic visits, with a particular emphasis on those experiencing spine and comprehensive pain issues. Collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals is integral to achieving optimal patient outcomes in our fast-paced clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities: Patient Care:
Conduct thorough evaluations and manage treatment for patients with spine disorders and comprehensive pain issues in an outpatient clinic setting
Provide compassionate and holistic care tailored to each patient's unique needs
Collaborative Care Planning:
Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment goals and care plans
Coordinate services and treatments to ensure the effective implementation of care plans
Post-Procedural Evaluation:
Evaluate patients following interventional spine procedures and collaborate on appropriate post-procedural management
Patient Advocacy and Support:
Serve as a reliable resource and advocate for patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals
Address concerns and provide support to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services
Additional Duties:
Fulfill unit-specific responsibilities and expectations outlined in departmental guidelines
Undertake any other clinical duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of the department
Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner
Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
Physician Assistant
Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
