Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking an Accounting Manager- see below for all details.

• Direct hire position


• Based in Exton, PA. Will be primarily on-site (remote flexibility given as needed)

Qualifications:

• 
  Senior Accounting Background: The ideal candidate should have significant experience in accounting, particularly at a senior level.


• 
  Manufacturing Industry Experience: Familiarity with accounting practices specific to the manufacturing sector is essential.


• 
  Leadership Experience: The role requires some form of leadership experience, such as mentoring junior team members or managing direct reports.

Responsibilities:

• 
  General Accounting Functions:
  
  
  • Manage detailed Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  
  
  • Oversee inventory valuation.
  
  
  • Handle cash flow management.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Monthly Close Process:
  
  
  • Ensure the monthly close process adheres to company timelines.
  
  
  • Coordinate tasks with the Finance & Accounting team.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Enforcement of Policies and Procedures:
  
  
  • Enact and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
  
  
  • Build strong working relationships with internal customers.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Audit Support:
  
  
  • Assist the Controller during the annual audit in collaboration with an independent CPA firm.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Tax Workpaper Preparation:
  
  
  • Support in preparing Federal and State Income Tax workpapers for filings.
  
  
  • Act as the Company's subject matter expert (SME) for Sales & Use Tax.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Financial Reporting:
  
  
  • Implement new accounting standards throughout the financial reporting process.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Cashflow Forecasting:
  
  
  • Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts in coordination with Credit Collections, Accounts Payable, and the FP&A Department.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Budgeting and Projections:
  
  
  • Prepare budgets and cash flow projections as required.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Financing and Relationships:
  
  
  • Implement new financing lines.
  
  
  • Maintain relationships with funding partners.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Purchase Order Analysis:
  
  
  • Analyze Purchase Order variances to determine causes of favorable or unfavorable results.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Cost Management:
  
  
  • Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Syteline weekly.
  
  
  • Manage current standard costs for the company.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Profitability Metrics:
  
  
  • Review business line profitability metrics across the organization.
  
  
  • Provide insights into the causes of favorable or unfavorable outcomes.
