Amerisure is currently recruiting for a Workers’ Compensation Fast Track Claims Manager. This role will sit onsite in any of the following offices: Dallas, TX; Tampa, FL; Lisle, IL; Atlanta, GA; Farmington Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will also possess the following skill set. 

Summary Statement

Leads the workers’ compensation fast track claim unit to ensure execution of service model and production standards.  Responsible for developing workflows and process improvements including implementing new technologies to create efficient and cost-effective solutions to deliver superior outcomes.  Promotes the success of the organization through development and advancement of relationships with agencies, policyholders and employees.

Essential Tasks/Major Duties


  • Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for area of responsibility.

  • Analyze and interpret information to develop and execute plans for evaluating team effectiveness.

  • Design, implement, and monitor solutions, including but not limited to staffing, production, processes, and workflow, to improve both operational efficiency and consistent delivery of a high level of customer service.

  • Provide technical guidance to ensure proper investigation of losses, identification of coverage, determination of compensability, and appropriate payment of reasonable, necessary, and related medical care.

  • Ensure plans of action are proactively developed and executed to conclude claims pursuant to guidelines and delegated authority.

  • Ensure proper reserves are established and maintained to accurately reflect financial exposure.

  • Utilize file audits, periodic file reviews and available resources to identify trends and developmental opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 7 years commercial claims adjusting experience including 2 years leadership experience.

  • Industry accreditation preferred.

  • Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing as required.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to think strategically with supporting analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity.

  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to travel overnight up to 30%.
