Job Description



Meet the team:



Represent Dexcom, Inc. products to Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Wholesalers and secondary Distributors. Expand sales within the DME channel while ensuring a positive patient experience to push forward CGM as a standard of care. Collaborate with internal partners from Managed Markets and Field Sales to create strategic account plans in support of corporate and channel priorities.



Where you come in:



  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with key decision makers at DME Wholesalers and secondary Distributors

  • Monitor and manage DME Wholesaler inventories, including analysis of purchasing patterns and channel trends

  • Lead negotiation of distribution contracts

  • Develop and implement marketing/pull-through programs

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide account performance updates to commercial leadership based on metrics and contractual terms

  • Attends outside meetings or conferences, as appropriate, and assess competitive landscape to keep abreast of distribution trends, including new and existing DME Wholesalers and Secondary Distributors partners that may impact channel strategies




What makes you successful:



  • Pharma/MedTech industry account management experience with DME Wholesalers and/or DME Distributors

  • Relevant experience with distribution networks, trade processes and supply chain

  • Understanding of current working knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefit financial reimbursement financial flows

  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including strong collaboration and communication skills

Travel Required:





  • 50-75%




Experience and Education Requirements:



  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 - 8 years of related experience.
