Job Description:

Job Title: Lead Product Owner (Advanced Scheduling & Resource Planning)

Location: Flexible within the United States; Travel up to 20% required

Salary: $130,000k - 140,000k

The Lead Product Owner for Advanced Scheduling & Resource Planning is responsible for driving innovation in product development based on business priorities and objectives. Working closely with Product Leadership and Business Stakeholders, the Lead Product Owner establishes the product vision and collaborates with cross-functional teams to bring it to fruition using Scaled Agile Framework methodology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide thought leadership to develop new processes, methodologies, systems, and tools to enhance the operating environment for front-line team members.
  • Serve as an expert on UKG Pro Workforce Management and procedures related to executing WFM workloads, including forecasting, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Own and groom the product backlog with input from stakeholders, partners, and the business.
  • Facilitate complex working sessions to define strategic objectives tailored to meet business needs.
  • Support mobilization and business readiness as products and solutions near launch.
  • Analyze complex data and present findings to stakeholders in a compelling manner.
  • Represent company in meetings and solution work sessions to ensure delivery of advanced scheduling solutions.
  • Translate business requests into features and user stories, prioritizing product backlog to align with product strategy and roadmap.
  • Participate in product delivery ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with Business Stakeholders to understand and influence product strategy.
  • Communicate progress toward milestones as software is released.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and schedule adherence.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to understand and articulate various internal and external customer needs.
  • Proven self-starter who can proactively engage with the business, stakeholders, and peer base.
  • Experience working collaboratively with key stakeholders such as operations management, HR, and IT teams.
  • Solid change agent with resilience to roadblocks.
  • Anticipates customer needs and identifies solutions proactively.
  • Proficient problem solver with the ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet objectives.
  • Working understanding of UKG Pro Workforce Management.
  • Experience managing or deploying UKG Pro or similar advanced scheduling tools.
  • Experience in complete product lifecycle methodologies and collaborative, cross-functional team environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
  • Self-directed with demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of Flex Scheduling and shift governance in multiple-skill and multi-channel environments.
