Job Description:

Currently conducting a search for an Air Quality Project Manager to join an amazing team and innovative office environment. They are committed to hiring top-tier professionals with exceptional technical prowess and problem-solving acumen.

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will oversee a diverse array of air quality projects, including but not limited to:
  • New source review ("NSR"), non-attainment NSR, and Prevention of Significant Deterioration ("PSD") permitting.
  • Title V permitting.
  • Regulatory air dispersion modeling utilizing United States Environmental Protection Agency ("US EPA") recommended models (e.g., AERMOD).
  • Emission calculations and emissions inventory development.
  • Best available control technology ("BACT") assessments.
  • Regulatory applicability analyses encompassing state, local, and federal regulations.

Skills:
  • Advanced understanding of relevant regulations pertinent to tasks, projects, and client operations.
  • Depth and breadth of technical competencies to accurately scope and solve problems across various industries and client profiles.
  • Capability to mentor and train team members.
  • Proficiency in analytical problem-solving and time management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism necessary for fostering enduring relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Fundamental proficiency in math and science concepts such as unit conversions and data evaluation.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (e.g., Word/Excel/Outlook/SharePoint) and time/expense tracking software.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools (e.g., AERMOD, ArcGIS, TRI-ME).
  • Understanding of engineering principles including chemical processes and emissions control technologies.

Requirements:
  • B.S. or higher degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or a related scientific discipline.
  • Understanding of engineering concepts such as chemical processes and emissions control technologies.
  • Travel requirement less than 25%.
