The Senior Manager, Special Projects for Össur Patient Care leadership team plays a critical role in developing, driving and implementing the strategy for Össur's North America business unit, which includes Orthotic and Prosthetics clinics across the United States. The primary responsibility is to create capacity for the leader of Patient Care by facilitating a wide array of strategic and operational projects/decisions that reside in the leader's lane, acting on the leader's behalf to drive business initiatives forward across teams and the enterprise. This is a fast-paced, exciting role with the opportunity to drive significant impact within a rapidly evolving business and industry. Senior Manager, Special Projects will support the development of the clinical strategy, aggregating and synthesizing analysis, partnering with various functions across the enterprise to drive strategic planning, organizing management processes, communications internally and externally, and supporting employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize, implement, manage, and track high-level program initiatives. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with the management team to organize and structure the end-to-end process, including project initiation, business case development, implementation, reporting, management, and tracking.
Responsibilities:

Drive the strategic process on internal consulting projects
Exposure to all levels of the local and national leadership team
Responsible for developing hypotheses, analysis framework and providing recommendations
Prepare executive-level presentations to share with local and national C-Suite Executives
Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity
Will influence across a matrix environment without authority
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, applying research and analysis skills as well as diagnosis skills
Developing agendas, coordinating logistics and materials distribution for leadership and board meetings, ensuring that agenda represent key initiatives and priorities of the business
Anticipating, managing preparation for, and when appropriate, facilitating meetings and events
Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
MBA or advance degree preferred
4+ years of experience in management consulting (strategy / operations), private equity, or related field
Prior experience in a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives within a healthcare delivery organization (outpatient clinics, hospital systems)
Be a fast learner and analytical thinker
Have very good business writing skills
Able to move quickly in an ever-changing environment without supervision
Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
Ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple layers of a healthcare organization, from executive leadership to clinicians
Ability and eagerness to learn about the various operating lanes of a clinical sector, from patient experience to revenue cycle management, to drive improvement
Ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional local and national teams
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; ability to interpret, assess, develop, and present quantitative problems and solutions when needed
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, depending on the portfolio of projects

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,195 -$165,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
