Enterprise Builders Corporation is an award-winning commercial general contractor with over 35 years serving New Mexico. We specialize in commercial construction including new construction, tenant improvements, remodels, construction manager at risk (CMAR), and design/build projects.
We have an immediate opening for a Project Estimator. The ideal candidate will have experience collecting and analyzing data in order to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to construct a building.
Job Requirements include but not limited to:
Reviews construction documents and understands scope of work to bid.
Executes take-offs of construction documents.
Obtains pricing for materials and bids from subcontractors.
Prepares cost analysis utilizing computer platform by calculating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items.
Responsible for ensuring revenue and profitability requirements are met by providing detailed and accurate
job proposals.
Maintain up to date knowledge of material costs, customer trends, and latest product information.
Maintain positive working relations with all team members.
Must manage the proposal process and ensure all requirements are met for a successful proposal submission to client
Providing conceptual estimates without much information provided
Provide hard bid lump sum competitive estimates
Technical writing skills to prepare professional construction proposals to clients.
Attend pre-bids conferences
Meeting or beating deliverable deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (preferred, not required)
Experience in commercial construction management
Ability to bid, negotiate and manage commercial construction projects
Experience with design build and construction manager at risk contracts is preferred.
Customer Service oriented and excellent communication skills
Experience with project scheduling
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Vista, and WinEst preferred
