We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager with expertise in mass excavation and underground utilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion, with a focus on self-performing mass excavation and wet/underground utility work. This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a dedication to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: - Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project team. - Oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards. - Coordinate resources, equipment, and materials to support efficient project operations.
Contract Management: - Manage subcontractor relationships and procurement processes as necessary. - Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project-related agreements. - Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership and Collaboration: - Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including engineers, foremen, and subcontractors. - Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication. - Conduct regular meetings to review project progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Client Relations: - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. - Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges effectively to clients and stakeholders. - Cultivate long-term client relationships through exceptional service and project delivery.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on mass excavation and underground utilities.- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment related to mass excavation and underground utilities.- Experience with self-performing project work and managing subcontractors.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
