Overview

As an IT Project Management Office Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing significant IT projects. Your role will involve implementing standardized procedures across various functional teams. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with IT leadership to manage IT budgets, contributing to global IT integration, recommending process improvements, preparing key performance indicators for monthly reports, and facilitating the onboarding of new resources for IT department expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and enhance project management standards to elevate IT department capabilities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled project managers.
  • Oversee the operational and capital IT budget and resources management.
  • Coordinate with vendors for effective project execution.
  • Communicate essential information to global leadership teams.
  • Direct certain aspects of IT strategy, including legacy data migration to modern cloud platforms.
  • Engage with stakeholders for efficient risk management in projects.
  • Provide effective communication through presentations and team meetings.
  • Adhere to and update business procedures and IT development standards.
  • Contribute to program management in large projects and resolve team issues.
  • Coordinate with application teams for data integration in various systems.
  • Generate and present recommended key performance indicators monthly.
  • Uphold teamwork and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or 8+ years of experience in project management.
  • Proven leadership in technology projects.
  • Familiarity with the Energy Industry and ISO markets.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint), Windows, and Linux operating systems.
  • Required knowledge of ISO Market systems, SQL Server databases, and modern cloud technologies, ideally AWS.
