Our client is a leading player in the food distribution and production industry, known for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are searching for a Logistics General Manager to oversee and optimize our client's logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of our client's food products.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage logistics operations for multiple sites, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency.
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics processes and meet company objectives.
Lead and motivate a diverse team of logistics professionals to achieve operational excellence.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to enhance team performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and reduce operational costs.
Implement and enforce quality assurance measures to ensure the integrity and safety of food products during transportation and storage.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective services.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
Stay abreast of industry trends and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
? Proven experience as a Logistics General Manager overseeing multiple sites.
? Strong leadership and team management skills.
? In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
? Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
? Familiarity with food distribution regulations required.
