Superintendent will manage and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality of work, and sub-contractor and supplier coordination. Working in conjunction with the Project Manager in leading the project team.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Completion of OSHA 10 or 30 Hours for construction industry
Safety standards knowledge and enforcement
Ability to remain calm, focused and effective, under time pressure situations
Self-starter with ability to set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills
Ability to read blueprints
Possess an understanding of building plans and specifications
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook) a plus
Adaptability/Flexibility
Good judgment and decision-making skills
Work well under stress
Ability to handle situations involving sensitive and confidential company information
Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
