Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: • Interact with engineering as well as other technicians maintaining sophisticated chemical and gas delivery systems. Your scope will include all High-Volume Manufacturing HVM gas and chemical bulk delivery system operations on the Ocotillo campus. • Operate and maintain chemical and gas delivery systems which support High Volume Manufacturing. Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on chemical, solvent, and gas systems. • Utilize quality systems, diagnose process issues, interpret data related to bulk chemical and gas delivery systems. • Utilize analytical equipment and Preventative Excursion Management Systems, through the quality documented systems. • Understand and diagnose analytical data using Cimplicity/SCADA Systems.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following: • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • The ability to interact with manufacturing and other customers/stakeholders within a diverse organization. • Role modeling safety and attentive to detail, procedural requirements related to the handling of hazard production materials. • Computer skills, including the use of MS Office applications, and other platforms required for maintenance documentation. • Willingness to work in a team environment and possess positive interpersonal skills. • Personal focus on safety for themselves and other team members.
Minimum Qualifications: • Candidate must have one of the following: • Associate of Science degree in STEM • 1+ years of experience in Bulk Chemical and Gas Delivery Systems maintenance and troubleshooting • Military Experience considered in lieu of associates degree.
Candidate must be willing to: • Work a compressed workweek schedule (days and nights). Shift is twelve hours long and rotates from three to four days a week. • Must be willing to work holidays/weekends when they fall on your standard shift schedule • Lift up to 30 lbs, pull 250lbs at least once a day and spend the majority of shift time (greater than 90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, walking 3-5 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours. • Perform job roles and responsibilities while wearing personal protective equipment PPE. • Work from heights and climb ladders. • Operate a PIT forklift, pallet jack and spend a considerable part of your day working in a mobile environment. • Multitask issues and carry a team duty phone.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate has relevant experience with: • Facilities chemical and gas distribution systems. • Use of hand tools, power tools, and analytical/metrology equipment used in the area. • Chemical nomenclature and gases used in a semiconductor processing facility. • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pumps, valves and PLC control logic. • Chemical blending systems and operations.
