Job Description:

Advancement Services Officer | Luminis Health

Join our team and be a vital part of our Foundations department, where you'll gain valuable experience in finance and database management.

Here are the key responsibilities and requirements:

Foundation Finances
  • Execute the Foundation's operating budget process.
  • Track department expenses and reconcile to keep the Foundation on budget.
  • Liaise with clinical teams for accurate fund transfers and service line reporting.
  • Lead invoicing to Accounts Payable and manage financial reports for Month-end close.
  • Ensure GAU balances and documentation related to Foundation fund transfer are tracked.

Database
  • Extract data from Salesforce and other Foundation systems to support initiatives.
  • Check gift processing/batch commitments before submission into the database.
  • Execute weekly gift checks and adjustments under Manager of Advancement Services' guidance.
  • Oversee tax receipt issuance to donors and execute comprehensive End of Year receipt.
  • Maintain data hygiene in Salesforce through accurate data entry and routine audits.

General Foundation Operations
  • Work on special projects to improve operational efficiency within the Department of Philanthropy and Foundations.
  • Keep a global view of current processes and alert Foundation leadership when programs evolve past established procedures.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
  • Two years' work experience with advanced training in database and word processing skills.
  • BA/BS degree.
