Review and create Job Plans and Preventive Maintenance schedules designed to maximize
asset life.
Evaluate equipment need for critical spares to be kept in inventory.
Inspect and evaluate conditions of facilities and equipment.
Support construction planning, purchasing, and commissioning of new facilities assets.
Support engineering project design from a MEP standpoint.
Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities, calibrations, inspections, repairs;
ensure tasks are completed by outside services or performed in house.
Develop and maintain equipment records.
Update building and equipment records to ensure all PM activities and unscheduled repairs are reliably performed and documented.
Support operations, as needed, to ensure client needs and company goals are met.
Manage outside contractors and vendors.
Create and update site drawings, including P&IDs, piping, and isometric drawings.
Perform sizing calculations on new and existing equipment (pumps, control valves, chillers,
boilers, etc.).
Support ongoing sustainability efforts to reduce energy and water consumption.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering and 2 to 5 years related experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
