Job Description:

We are seeking to hire a Director, Global Physical Security responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the physical security strategies and programs to ensure the safety of all company assets, including teammates, facilities, and operations across all domestic and international locations. This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance the tactical day-to-day operations with the strategic development of global security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Policy Development: Design and maintain a comprehensive global physical security strategy that aligns with company goals and addresses current and future security challenges.

Risk Assessment: Continually assess risks to our facilities, assets, and staff and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them.

Global Threat/Security Intelligence: Oversee the design and implementation of global intelligence monitoring to include location threat intelligence, executive protection, global travel risk management, special events security, advanced security assessment, insider risk prevention, reputational risk intelligence, and law enforcement operations.

Global Security Operations Center (GSOC): Assist with the oversight and implementation of a GSOC responsible for 24/7 incident command/response, threat intelligence, travel monitoring, monitoring of access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection to mitigate risks and provide situational awareness that detects and protects corporate assets and teammates from potential threats.

Physical Security Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems, such as access control systems, CCTV, alarms, and other security enhancements.

Incident Management: Respond to, manage, and review security breaches or incidents. Ensure prompt reporting, investigation, and resolution.

Vendor Management: Select and manage relationships with global security vendors, consultants, and service providers.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as TR, Legal, and IT, to ensure cohesive security efforts across all areas of the company.

Training & Awareness: Develop and implement training programs for employees on security protocols, emergency response, and situational awareness.

Compliance: Ensure that the company's security practices comply with local, national, and international regulations and standards.

Reporting and Metrics: Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive metrics, KPI, and reporting to provide a single pain of glass view into physical security platforms.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in physical security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the latest security systems and technology.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with international security standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency in crisis management and incident response.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice (10% - 20%)
