Acara Solutions is looking for a Financial Project Manager in Baltimore Maryland for one of our clients. This position is contract to hire with the contract being 3 months to then converting to a full-time employee.
Job Duties:
* Leading finances for projects to improve overall performance
* Collaborating with project teams to provide finance advice and tutoring
* Raising "Early Warnings" to management
* Challenging and approving project financials as per DoA
* Ensuring compliance with local regulations, especially for tax and statutory accounts purposes
* Communicating with stakeholders to provide reliable financial analysis
Required Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial project management or operational finance/accounting
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English, with additional languages being a plus
* Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with SAP
