Sage Mesa Marketing & Trading LLC, the newly added physical gas trading subsidiary of Pan Capital Management, is hiring a physical gas trader/scheduler. The position is hybrid role response for trading and optimizing physical assets under firm management.
Role Description
Plays a key role in a newly formed physical gas trading company to optimize physical assets.
Executes daily, monthly physical trading and financial hedge for the firm.
Ensures all trading activities are fully captured, documented, and summarized in the company's ETRM system.
Maintains business relationship with various counterparties to identify business opportunities for the firm.
Ensures all transactions comply with all applicable company risk policies.
Ensures all activities on behalf of the firm complied with law, rules and regulations of various government entities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or other analytical discipline is required.
Self-motivated individual with entrepreneur spirit is encouraged to apply.
Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills to work in number intensive environments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties.
Prefer someone with 2 years+ of experience trading or scheduling.
