A leading aerospace company is seeking to hire a Commodity Manager to join their team in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
Responsibilities:
Develop Commodity Strategies: Create and implement commodity strategies and programs specifically focused on procuring carbon composite materials for aerospace manufacturing operations.
Cost Optimization: Plan, collect data, and deliver reports to determine cost-saving options for materials.
Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate long-term contract agreements with suppliers.
Make/Buy Decisions: Generate make/buy decisions based on a variety of factors, including internal costs and capabilities for core and non-core items.
Supplier Development: Engage in supplier development activities based on commodity group. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Quality teams when necessary.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 5-7+ years in supply chain management
Specific Experience: Experience sourcing carbon composites, film, and adhesives
Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
