Job Description:
Busy Vero Beach family office in need of a highly organized and self-motivated office manager Responsibilities
- pay the bills and post activity in Quickbooks
- reconcile bank and credit card statements
- open snail mail, scan and save down in the cloud drive
- gather investment statements/activity from emails/online portals and save down to cloud drive
- book appts and keep calendar for principals
- run misc local errands in Vero Beach (so proximity to the island is important)
- travel bookings
- insurance administration - medical as well as property/casualty
- gather tax documents for the accountants (1099's, K1's, one-off taxable events)
- coordinate property management
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Quickbooks
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, with attention to detail
- Self-starter that is highly organized
- General IT knowledge (email/phones/internet/computer)
- Work experience in tax/accounting/bookkeeping/finance a plus
- Discretion is of paramount importance
