POSITION OBJECTIVE

A Senior Project Manager at Gaskins + LeCraw has an incredible opportunity to join an established engineering and land surveying company that is family centered and mission driven. Gaskins + LeCraw is currently seeking a high-caliber Civil Engineer Senior Project Manager to join their Civil Site Development team in the Marietta, GA office. You will be responsible for negotiating contracts, establishing project budgets, leading a design team and providing strategic leadership for projects from start to finish. You will also provide excellent client service, client communication and provide input on essential business decisions.

POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide strategic leadership to your design team.
  • Oversee and lead team and client meetings.
  • Collaborate on and contribute to maintaining and building strong client relationships.
  • Assist with business development and marketing efforts to help grow the business with both existing and new clients.
  • Effectively lead and manage multiple projects concurrently, and lead project teams with diverse technical skill sets and geographic locations.
  • Project Management Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain project budgets.
  • Negotiate contracts.
  • Execute the projects with excellence.
  • Oversee invoicing and collection of payments.
  • Provide input on key business decisions.
  • Visit nearby client and project sites as required.
  • Attend City Council, Planning & Zoning, and Board Meetings.
  • Lead projects through the design process.
  • Ability to be out of the office occasionally for local projects.
  • View their position as a partnership with their client.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE).
  • 15+ years of diversified experience in growing and leading teams in the areas of Civil Site Development.
  • Extensive commercial or residential site development experience.
  • Have the ability to lead and work with multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills in effectively leading project teams.
  • Possess adept problem-solving skills and organizational abilities, enabling efficient project management.
  • Exhibits exceptional abilities in managing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering strong partnerships.
  • Business development and marketing experience including; writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present projects to City Councils, Planning & Zoning Boards, and Commissions.
  • Self-starter, eager to learn and take on responsibility is required.
