Consumer Loan Specialist

Hourly rate - $16.00 to $18.00

We are looking for a Consumer Loan Specialist to leverage customer service skills, business knowledge, technical skills, and interpersonal relationship skills to assist and meet the needs of our customers.

The Consumer Loan Sales Specialist is responsible for selling, processing, and servicing consumer loans out of our Branch Operations Support Centre in San Antonio, Texas. The position collaborates closely with the Manager and Support Centre staff supporting all 1FFC state branches. The Consumer Loan Specialist is knowledgeable of features of products and services to drive an exceptional customer experience.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities
  • marketing for new loans to existing and new customers through solicitation calls
  • and upsell customers on all product offerings including loan options and optional insurance products.
  • loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy, to determine customer eligibility.
  • every customer in a professional manner.
  • monthly quality control reviews on the overall 1FFC loan portfolio.
  • and collect on delinquent accounts to identify and address trends or problems.
  • address delinquent accounts by consulting with customers on past-due loan payments
  • of modification requests
  • posts all operations support centre payments, including but not limited to mail, electronic, repo payments, and debt sales.
  • daily bank deposit, balancing cash drawers each day.
  • handling of processing paid out contracts, and releasing liens in a timely manner, according to state law and company guidelines.
  • to customer's needs in a timely and efficient manner
  • customer confidentiality and confidential information is maintained

Education, Qualifications and Experience

Essential
  • School Diploma or equivalent
  • years consumer finance or related experience
  • to meet current Licensing requirements of various States and Federal regulators.
  • the ability to analyse relevant information and apply individual judgement.
  • interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and differing social and business settings.
  • to maintain confidential business and personal information.
  • and result focused.
  • communication skills (verbal/written/interpersonal)
  • English/Spanish
  • in MS Office Suite Products
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate an automobile
