Job Summary:

At New Reach Education, located in Tempe, Arizona, we're on a mission to transform financial literacy through innovative online education. We're in search of a Technical Product Manager who is not only passionate about creating impactful learning experiences but also brings a solid understanding of the technological landscape that underpins our eLearning courses. In this pivotal role, you will navigate the intersection of education and technology, ensuring our products not only meet, but exceed our learners' expectations. Responsibilities:
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis, with a focus on identifying how emerging technologies can enhance educational content delivery.
  • Deliver relevant data and impactful company information, in a non-technical way, to key stakeholders, such as our CEO and VP of Operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the PMO team, understanding the technical aspects of Next.js, React, and Node.js to define product requirements that align with both user needs and technical capabilities.
  • Guide the design and implementation of RESTful and real-time APIs, ensuring they meet our standards for educational content delivery and user interaction.
  • Work with sales, marketing and finance teams to develop solutions, leveraging your understanding of AWS services and web development best practices to ensure technical feasibility and operational excellence.
  • Influence product strategy by integrating your knowledge of SQL databases, API design, and cloud services into the development and maintenance of product roadmaps and release plans.
  • Champion the adoption of Agile methodologies, facilitating collaboration across teams with diverse technical skills, from front-end development in HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap to backend development in Node.js and TypeScript.

Requirements:
  • Ability to commit to a fully on-site position based in Tempe, Arizona.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Technology, Computer Science, or Education), or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in automation software solution and implementation.
  • Experience diagnosing technical issues and providing solutions or workarounds.
  • Demonstrable experience or a strong understanding of the full stack development process, including proficiency in technologies such as Next.js, React, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Node.js, and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and experience with or understanding of designing RESTful and real-time APIs.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services, particularly with a focus on Amplify for hosting, and solid understanding of web development best practices.
  • Proficient in using Git for version control and has a track record of effective collaboration in team settings.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate changing requirements and dynamic project landscapes.
  • A passion for leveraging technology in the education sector, aiming to make a significant impact on financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
