JOB SUMMARY: The role provides administrative and creative support and development of policies and programs that maximize the onboard family experience and extend across the Norwegian, Regent and Oceania brands.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seek innovative initiatives and action trending ideas related to Youth and Family Programming for large and small groups spanning multiple generations.
Assist with weekly manning assessments as needed per youth counts.
Schedule, co-ordinate, and update training for shipboard staff.
Co-ordination of logistics for annual holidays events.
Maintain ship inventory documents to be used for spot checks.
Assist with reviewing orders to maintain budgets.
Update all standard operation policies as needed and submit to company intranet.
Work with the Access Desk to establish special needs requests for guests as needed on a cruise-by-cruise basis.
Review patterns in verbatim to identify areas needing improvement and formulate future concepts based off guest's suggestions. Visit to ships may be required.
Enter all data entry for project updates, and service requests as needed.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: In Recreation, Hospitality, or Marketing
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 years' experience programming for large groups is welcome. Cruise Ship/ Hospitality /Hotel experience is favorable, it is not necessarily a requirement.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
Must have a high level of computer competency, proficient in excel and reporting, working knowledge of Power point, word, ai generation, whose focus should be on problem solving to ensure a top-quality guest experience.
Autonomous, self-starter who works well unsupervised.
Must demonstrate a high level of organizational and communication skills.
Must take a proactive strategic approach to programming, is adaptable, collaborative and must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
