Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator for a position located in Savannah. The company is a well-established and reputable general contractor providing infrastructure and site work services throughout Savannah and coastal SC. With clients in the public and private sector, you'll have a chance to work on projects of varying sizes and scopes of work.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.
Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
Qualifications
Experience working on estimating and pre-construction for infrastructure, roadway, site work or grading, or similar projects.
Experience with B2W software and other estimating software
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
