Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Technology Group is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement a unified logging layer with primary responsibility to roll out standard Logging Libraries integrated into the CI/CD toolchain (Artifactory); Develop products that provide full stack observability including application monitoring, logging, alerting, visualization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence; Integrate and assist in building logging architectures including Kafka, LogStash, Splunk, and ElasticSearch/ELK; Implement unified logging layer that streams petabytes of application data ensuring that all data including confidential data adheres to security standards and policies by implementing necessary controls as code (masking, formatting, etc.); and Partner with internal customers, architects, and engineers to gather requirements to build unified logging layer and products that are scalable, stable, and secure while leveraging Agile methodology. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field. Position requires 5 years of experience in the job offered or software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:
  • 3 years of C# .NET or Java development experience
  • 3 years of experience with Continuous Integration tools Jenkins, Urbancode Deploy, or a combination of both
  • 3 years of Agile experience
  • 1 year of JIRA experience
  • 1 year of compliance and regulatory systems experience
  • 1 year of experience with Application Logging Controls
