Purpose
Perform full cycle payroll processing activities, including reviewing and processing payroll, inspecting and balancing payroll reports, creating and processing payments, and maintaining payroll data. Serve as a contact for all team members and vendors with regard to payroll processes, questions, and concerns.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize UKG Workforce Ready system to track, maintain, and process time keeping, pay, and personnel data
Utilize Oracle E1 system to track, maintain, and process vendor payments, general ledger postings, and historical payroll information
Reconcile and review timecards
Process regular payroll and interim payroll checks, vendor payments, garnishments, one-time overrides, and adjustments
Assist in the preparation and processing federal, state, and local tax deposits and reports
Conduct internal and external audits related to payroll function
Complete timely verifications of employment
Track, validate, and communicate details for the Company apprenticeship program
Track and process reimbursements for all approved expenses
Maintain team member time off balances within Company system and determine eligible payout as necessary, to align with relevant policy, contract, or law
Manually calculate payments as needed
Participate in W2 compilation, processing, and distribution
Participate in annual employee giving campaign
Live check distribution
Collaborate with management, HR, Compensation, and Benefits teams to ensure accurate data, communicate timelines, and troubleshoot issues
Provide world class customer service to internal and external customers
Serve as payroll trainer for plant approvers as needed

Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in payroll or combination experience and education
Excellent keyboard skills and 10-key by touch
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Ability to demonstrate the highest ethical standards in dealing with confidential information
Proficient interpersonal skills
Ability to demonstrate efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail with frequently changing priorities
Ability to think critically to analyze payroll information for reasonability
Willing to participate in personal growth and leadership opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years payroll experience
Kronos Workforce Ready proficiency
Multi-state payroll processing experience
Manufacturing environment experience
