The essential duties of the role:
Act as a technical liaison for client projects, coordinating across disciplines such as structural, electrical, and civil, from conceptual to detailed design stages. This includes leading the mechanical design efforts and software-based document preparation.
Oversee the preparation of engineering reports and cost estimates by analyzing data and ensuring the accuracy of design computations for system specifications and sizing.
Mentor junior engineers and 2D/3D designers, guiding the creation of technical drawings and specifications for equipment and materials procurement.
Conduct site visits for data collection and documentation, contributing to the construction process by consulting on design constructability, project sequencing, and scheduling.
Uphold quality standards as per the company's quality manual, with additional tasks assigned by management. Experience in H2 fuel systems and roles like project engineer or manager is beneficial.
For this role, we are looking for individuals that hold the following qualifications and attributes:
Bachelors within Mechanical Engineering (Masters in Mechanical is a bonus)
At least 10+ years of industry experience (in either fossil or nuclear generation)
PE Licence, or to be willing and able to gain it within 2024
Be a current US citizen or green card holder (H1B applicants will not be accepted)

Base Salary Range: $120,000 to $160,000 (D.O.E)
Cash Bonus: 15% of annual base salary
