The Project Manager oversees the execution of engineering and construction projects, including small maintenance and efficiency upgrades for production facilities.
DUTIES:
Manages project scope, cost, scheduling, and deliverables from scoping to start-up. Independently handles multiple small projects, applying hands-on engineering skills for turn-around and maintenance-related upgrades.
Follows defined methodologies, coordinates work across departments, and ensures compliance with safety and quality programs.
Prepares project plans, analyzes costs, and makes adjustments to keep projects on course.
Anticipates and manages project risks, communicates progress, and collaborates with cross-functional teams. Coordinates project teams, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations. Takes ownership of specific program elements at the portfolio level.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of combined experience in engineering, project management, and construction in an operating facility.
5+ years of related industry experience in industrial gas and chemicals sector.
Expertise in design and operation of industrial gas facilities a plus.
Proficiency in project development, execution, change control, schedule, cost control, and resource planning.
Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of multiple projects ranging from $0.25 MM to $2MM.
