Electrum (formerly Pick My Solar) is seeking a Senior Product Manager to manage a product portfolio that is critical to our home electrification marketplace. Reporting to the VP of Product, you'll work closely with internal and external teams to build and maintain best-in-class user, partner and customer experiences. This is a role for technically-adept product managers who want to lead the development of products ranging from applications that power sales cycles, tools leveraged by partners, and 3rd-party data integrations. If this unique opportunity to make a direct and hands-on impact within our disruptive climate tech startup is of interest, please read on!

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and drive the roadmap for Electrum's business-critical sales and fulfillment platform, including integrations with an ecosystem of internal and external data and applications
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the JTBDs (jobs-to-be-done) of your users including our sales and fulfillment teams, installer partners, channel partners, and customers
  • Make clear and informed recommendations and work with key stakeholders and senior leadership to build and continuously enhance the vision and strategy for your products and platform, in alignment with the objectives of each line of business
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the business logic behind your platform's automations and workflows
  • Define business and product vision and requirements in order to evangelize and explain the "why"
  • Author detailed functional requirements for cross-functional teams so they can effectively determine the "how"
  • Organize and conduct end-user acceptance testing to validate new features and functionality
  • Collaborate with engineering partners to refine workstreams, processes and priorities to most effectively work down the team's backlog, balancing the needs of the business and the technology capabilities
  • Communicate product and project status and updates to stakeholders with appropriate detail and timeliness
  • Empower your users with the knowledge and training needed to make effective use of your products
  • Define, monitor and analyze your product and platform KPIs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product management experience with an emphasis on data-driven, workflow-oriented products and platforms. Experience identifying and developing workflow automations would be a plus!
  • Experience collaborating with technical partners to build and communicate product goals, roadmaps, priorities, requirements and metrics
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to understand and model products that require advanced calculations
  • Experience working within agile product development frameworks (our teams periodically adjust frameworks to adapt to changing product and business needs)
  • Have the willingness and ability to stretch beyond just a PM role, that often comes from working at a tech startup
  • Meticulous attention to detail combined with the organizational ability to move multiple initiatives forward effectively and simultaneously
  • Experience incorporating immediate as well as future user, scaling and operational needs when defining and prioritizing your roadmap and requirements
  • Willingness to flex working hours in order to collaborate with overseas teammates
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as software engineering
