The Sr. Technical Product Manager will be responsible for performing market and competitive research, working with cross-functional teams, to elicit requirements, challenge assumptions, articulate Product Vision & Features, socialize Strategic Themes and related priorities, collaborate often with Product Owners, approve R&D deliverable quality, and enable new and altered workflows through to customer enablement.

This role will work across functional boundaries, with an aim to be the glue for owned initiatives, to bring the right folks together at the right time to deliver on customer requests.

Depending on experience level, this position will also have product managers as direct reports, so management experience is also a plus.

What will your job look like?
• Interface with key external stakeholders including: customers, vendors, domestic and international standards organizations to elicit and set market and product requirements
• Interface with key internal stakeholders including: Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Project Office, Legal and Finance to define, document, communicate and negotiate optimal implementation approach
• Document baseline as-is workflows / sequence diagrams, in collaboration with internal and external customers; iterate on future-state to-be workflows / to-be sequence diagrams / to-be UI mock-ups / to-be API hypothesis definition
• Facilitator of last resort: Own your product, and facilitate brainstorming and problem-solving sessions to resolve blockers
• Ensure the quality of delivery: solid to-be workflows, supportable solutions with monitoring alerting hooks for NOC/VOC, account for billing automation, and inspect every deliverable, prior to launch
• Own the quality of every user interface, for owned domain areas, inclusive of UI, API's and other relevant touch-points
• Sell your product and your vision internally, and collaborate in customer sales / acquisition activities, inclusive of:
• Contribute towards relevant proposal and contract terms
• Contribute towards creation of Product Marketing material: 1-Sheets, sales pitch decks, product specification documentation
• Educate the organization on your Product
• Acquire data-driven insights, and form a well-thought-out opinion, and communicate both effectively
• Actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and directly participate in UAT, to certify the quality of implemented workflows and R&D features
• Document and maintain a Product/Service Roadmap for responsible domain areas
• Partnering with other members of the Product Management Team, and other stakeholders, in establishing Roadmaps with cross-team dependency identification, Pricing, Forecasts, Budgets and KPI's

Participate with the sales organization in client visits, on and off-site, to understand requirements, and develop peer level relationships with key customers and vendors
• Oversee the creation and delivery of training for internal and external stakeholders

All you need is...
• Creative problem-solver, with an ability to harness the power of Generative AI in the media and entertainment industry
• 5+ years' of experience in media operations, product management or product development in a fast paced SaaS software/managed services environment
• Digital Media or other related experience strongly desired
• Technical proficiency, with an understanding of the essence of media, and the technology that drives our software, software development methodologies, inclusive of Agile/Scrum, and API's
• Strategic planning, with the ability to develop and, more importantly, execute product roadmaps, aligned with company objectives and market trends
• Cross functional collaboration, with a proven track record working closely with engineering/R&D, design, marketing and other teams to deliver successful products
• Data Analysis, with proficiency in using data-driven insights to inform product decisions and continuous improvements
• Problem solving, with an aptitude for identifying and addressing complex technical challenges and finding innovative solutions
• User centric, with deep empathy for users needs and experiences, with a focus on delivering intuitive and value-added products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Leadership, with an ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals, and to maintain high standards of quality and excellence
• Adaptability, with flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment, and quickly pivot strategies, based on evolving market conditions and customer feedback
• Bachelor's Degree a strong plus
• Willing to work in the office ~3 days a week, depending on hiring location
