LHH is currently seeking an experienced Buyer with strong communication and negotiation skills. The Buyer will be responsible for issuing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and working with contractors/supplies to monitor logistics.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and track product inventory levels across all locations.
Management of ERP system.
Authorizes payment for purchases maintaining appropriate paperwork
Responsible for supplier relationships and negotiations
Work with Operations and Customer Service representatives on supplier issues
Proactive monitoring of current market trends
Verify purchases orders comparing to delivered items
Assist with quality assurance
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred
Experience in purchasing capacity preferred
Strong negotiating skills
SAP is a Plus
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday through Friday
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience
