The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of the manufacturing plant, with a focus on maximizing productivity and profitability. Key responsibilities include:
Maximize Plant Capacity & Efficiency:
Lead efforts to enhance throughput and operational efficiencies to increase manufacturing profitability.
Continuously assess and optimize production processes, workflows, and staffing to meet production goals.
Assure Quality Control:
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) Department to maintain high product quality standards.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality.
Monitor Yield and Cost Control:
Analyze production costs and yields to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved productivity.
Implement strategies to control and reduce production costs while maximizing output.
Assure Sanitation Processes:
Work closely with the Sanitation Manager to ensure that sanitation and hygiene protocols are followed rigorously.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with regulatory standards.
Support R&D Efforts:
Collaborate with the Research and Development team to facilitate new product development and process improvements.
Provide input and resources to support innovation within the plant.
